PATRONY OF SUCH SECTOR AND TRADE UNIONS UGT, CCOO AND USE HAVE SIGNED IN PALMA SUCH AGREEMENT THAT CONTEMPLATES PROGRESSIVE SALARY INCREASES OF 4 PERCENT FOR THE PRESENT YEAR, OF 3 PERCENT FOR 2020 AND 2021 AND 2 PERCENT IN 2022.

All parties agree that this agreement will allow companies to develop their activity normally and ensure their competitiveness for these next three years, also contributing to an improvement in the salary conditions of workers and the future viability of the sector.

The President of the FEBT and, in turn, President of the Entrepreneurial Association of the Discretional Service of Travelers of the Balearic Islands, Rafael Roig, explained that, with this agreement both workers and trade unions have to be very aware of the enormous effort The companies accept the salary increases agreed today.

Roig has pointed out in this sense that the aforementioned wage increases occur at a clearly unfavorable time for companies in the discretionary transport sector that live directly or indirectly from tourism.

For the President of the Employer, at this time tourism in the Balearic Islands is experiencing a clear slowdown and future prospects, within the timeframe in which the agreement signed today, being realistic, are nothing positive.
