Carriers and taxi drivers demand drastic changes in the Bus-HOV lane to avoid chaos

Carriers and taxi drivers are demanding drastic changes from the Consell de Mallorca in the Bus-HOV lane that began operating on the Llevant motorway on Wednesday, between the Son Sant Joan airport and the Palacio de Congresos.

Rafel Roig, president of the Balearic Transport Federation (FBT), stated along the same lines: "It is necessary to improve operation, since peak hours from 7 to 9 in the morning are when the traffic jams as it is practically impossible to access the Vía de Cintura or the Coll d'en Rabassa from the Bus-Vao lane".
